Witam/Hello!

Tak, wróciłam do blogosfery i tak, mam nadzieję, że teraz już na dobre. Planowo miał to być zupełnie nowy blog i zupełnie nowa nazwa, ale któregoś dnia nieznany mi jak dotąd głos w mojej głowie zabrzmiał: "Wait a minute, choćbyś nawet chciała oderwać  się od przeszłości, to jesteś tą samą Ewą." Ok, zmieniły się priorytety, przybyło kilka zmarszczek i siwych włosów (ubyło zaś kilka kilogramów. PONOĆ. Tak przynajmniej moja rodzina twierdzi. Albo po prostu starają się być mili, well doesn't really matter now), ale nie możesz zapominać skąd się wywodzisz i przez co przeszłaś w swoim 31-letnim życiu. I gdy życie na Cyprze determinowane było ilością kawy wypitej każdego dnia, tak tu i teraz moje/nasze życie kręci się wokoł herbaty. Bo to nie Cypr a Wielka Brytania-kraina herbatą z mlekiem płynąca. Czyli źródła zachowane, jedynie rodzaj paliwa zmieniony. A o czym będzie? Well, miało być o tym, że kupujemy dom i że będziemy go dekorować według naszego widzimisię (a aranżacja, szukanie inspiracji i restauracja to nasza pasja, wreszcie jakaś!). "Niestety" w międzyczasie moj status dziewczyna ewoluował i przekształcił się w narzeczona, więc całą naszą energię, czas i środki będziemy lokować w nasz IDEALNY ślub i wesele, podczas gdy nasz IDEALNY dom stanie w kolejce i grzecznie będzie czekać na swoją kolej. Bo jak to sobie często powtarzamy w ramach ulżenia sobie nawzajem , na stworzenie IDEALNEGO domu mamy cale życie! Więc meble i cała reszta (czyt. ogromna lodówka, garderoba w stylu Carrie czy własna plantacja marchewki i brokuła w ogrodzie) muszą odejść w chwilowe zapomnienie, a my musimy skupić się na tym jak żyć oszczędnie i w międzyczasie cieszyc się sobą i udawać, że wszystko jest ok. Bo właściwie jest! Nigdy nie byłam szczęśliwsza plus czuję, że wreszcie jestem we właściwym miejscu. Suma sumarum, będzie to więc blog o planowaniu, o urządzaniu, o planach i marzeniach, czyli ogólniej mówiąc o naszym zwyczajnym życiu w naszym miasteczku i naszym nowym domu. Zapraszam. (Post pisany podczas lotu na trasie Warszawa-Luton, bo pierwotnie i o podróżach miało być. Vegas i Australia, ale one już się ustawiły w kolejce za meblami. Lublin przecież też jest fajny!)


Yes, I am back in the blogosphere and yes, I hope that this time it’s for good. Originally it was supposed to be a completely new blog with a totally new name, however, suddenly I heard a little voice in the back of my head saying: “Wait a minute, even if you want to forget your past, you must remember that you’re still the same Ewa”. Ok, maybe some priorities have changed and a few wrinkles and grey hairs have been gained (although also losing a few kilos in the process, as my family like to keep insisting ;-) but you can’t forget where you have come from and what you have experienced in the 31 -years of your life. My life in Cyprus was determined by the amount of coffee I drank every day, here my/our life is all about tea. It’s not Cyprus anymore, but Great Britain - the land of milk and honey! I’ve kept the roots, only the fuel has changed. What is it going to be about? Well, originally I wanted to write about buying a house and decorating it according to our current mood and taste - arranging, looking for inspirations and restoration, which is our passion - finally there is passion!! But “Unfortunately” in the meantime my girlfriend status has evolved and transformed into fiancé and so all our energy, time and resources/money will have to go into in our PERFECT wedding, whilst our PERFECT house will just have to start queuing and wait for its turn. As we quite often repeat just to make ourselves feel better, we have the whole of our life for creating the PERFECT house. That’s why the furniture and all the rest (I mean a large fridge-freezer, Carrie’s style walk-in wardrobe or my own carrot and broccoli plantation in the garden) will be have to be put on hold for a while, while we focus on saving and living modestly happy together and pretending that everything is fine. Actually it is fine!! I have never been happier with my life plus I finally feel that I’m in the right place. To sum up, my blog will be about planning, decorating, our dreams, and generally speaking it will just be about our normal life, in our little town, in our new home. Please feel welcome here. (The post was written during the flight Warsaw Okecie-London Luton, the blog was supposed to be about our travels too – and there’s been a few of those over the past few years. Vegas and Australia to start with, but they are now already sat in the queue just behind the furniture….. Lublin is cool too!)
